The Bolsover School Celebrates Strong GCSE Results and Student Success

The Bolsover School is proud to announce a year of strong GCSE results, reflecting the dedication, resilience, and hard work of its students and staff. This year, the school achieved an Attainment 8 score of 45, with 72% of students achieving Grade 4 or above in English and Maths (Basics 4+), and 42.7% achieving Grade 5 or above (Basics 5+).

These headline figures demonstrate the school’s continued commitment to academic excellence and the success of its students across a broad curriculum. The results are a testament to the determination and effort of the Year 11 cohort, who have shown remarkable perseverance throughout their time at The Bolsover School.

Steph Spence, Head of School, shared her pride in the students and staff:

“We are absolutely delighted with this year’s results. Our students have worked incredibly hard, and these outcomes reflect their commitment and the unwavering support of our dedicated staff. I am so proud of everything they have achieved - not just academically, but in the way they have grown as individuals. These results are a celebration of their journey, and we wish them every success in the future.”

The school extends its congratulations to all students and their families and looks forward to seeing the continued success of its young people as they move on to further education, apprenticeships, and employment.
