Instrumental Tuition

“Researchers have found that learning to play a musical instrument can enhance verbal memory, spatial reasoning and literacy skills. Playing an instrument makes you use both sides of your brain, which strengthens memory power.”

The music department are very keen to give every student the opportunity to fully experience what the subject can offer.  Learning an instrument or singing, at any level, is great fun and hugely rewarding, and we have a number of instrumental lessons that your child can be involved in. The skills that a student develops through learning an instrument supports their learning across the whole school and help to make them a better learner.
