Redhill Trust Awards 2025

The annual event showcases excellence, honouring the extraordinary work and contributions of staff from across Redhill Academy Trust.

A shortlist of 44 was selected from over 400 nominations received from colleagues across the Trust - with 4 members of staff from The Bolsover School shortlisted for awards!

✨ Co-Curricular Award – Mr Hallam

Mr Hallam has been a driving force in enriching the co-curricular landscape at The Bolsover School. By championing the Poetry by Heart competition, Mr Hallam has provided students with inspiring opportunities to develop vital skills, knowledge and personal attributes beyond the classroom.

✨ Governance Award – Mrs Flickinger

Mrs Flickinger has taken on numerous roles within the governing body, always volunteering her time generously to support wherever needed. Her dedication and initiative-taking approach exemplify exceptional governance, fostering a positive and collaborative school environment.

✨ Teaching Assistant of the Year – Mrs Lucas

Mrs Lucas has been a cornerstone of The Bolsover School for over 20 years, dedicating her career to supporting children with additional needs. Her unwavering passion shines through her tireless efforts, from fundraising to create new opportunities and providing daily academic, social and emotional support.

✨ Secondary Teacher of the Year – Mrs Gillian

Mrs Gillian’s commitment to excellence inspires students to reach their full potential, while her passion for teaching creates an engaging learning environment. She empowers her team with resources, guidance and encouragement, creating a collaborative and motivated environment.
